Workshop Salmon Egg Incubators

The Greater Kouchibouguac Watershed Association are inviting you to participate in an installation mock-up of salmon egg incubators. Participants will be guided to the Kouchibouguacis River where they will be able to practice the entire process (quality/control parameters, incubator loading, and installation). The purpose of this informal activity is to share the experience we’ve had with the Jordan-Scotty incubators and challenges we’ve overcome since we’ve been using them (2012) and to share the information we’ve gathered. Grab your waders n’ join us!

When: Thursday June 23rd 2016 at 9:30 AM till noon, with alternative dated in case of rain on Friday June 24th 2016 9:30 AM till noon.

Where: We’ll meet at 33 Rue du Collège Saint-Louis-de-Kent - AquaKent Center, then travel to St. Ignace (Chemin Gérasmine Gallant). The site is about a 5-minute walk from the parking area.

Cost: Free
